With more than fifteen years of operation studio"C" is a great place to take guitar and bass lessons. Please call 517-337-2208 if you are interested. I teach all styles of music.

Your Instructor                                                                                                         John Campbell has instructed guitar since 1975. He taught at Marshall Music in East Lansing until 1992. After leaving he opened his own private studio known as Studio"C". While at Marshall Music he taught up to 99 private students per week. His students have ranged in age from 3yrs old to 75 yrs old.
John teaches and plays all styles of guitar ranging from folk to contemporary rock and jazz, from contemporary Christian to Broadway, from country to metal.
All students regardless of their musical journey are required to take at least a basic guitar introduction block. This basic block of knowlege aquaints the student with basic 1st position chords and their key relationships, basic barre chord construction and application, and basic lead playing based on a blues/rock context. After this basic block of information the student can pursue almost any direction that he/she desires. More advanced  new students may be able to skip this if they display a degree of proficiency and knowlege in these areas.
